Story height, ladder moves, difficult access, travel miles, parking, and walkthrough time can change the real crew hours more than the pane count alone.

Labor rate, crew size, supplies, overhead, minimum callout, and target margin are business assumptions, not universal market rates.

Business quoting workflow
- 1. Start with the closest residential, storefront, commercial, or post-construction preset.
- 2. Edit the assumptions until the scope matches the job you actually saw or were sent.
- 3. Check the recommended quote, bid range, gross margin, and warning messages before discounting.
- 4. Use the copied summary as estimating notes, then write the customer-facing proposal in your normal system.
